Baptism

Today
My life begins anew
Blessed by my Lord and strengthened
by His sacrament of Holy Baptism.

My old ways are behind me and
I shall dress in Christ daily
throughout my new life,
seeking His guidance
for my purpose
and direction,
ever knowing
He is always with me,
Guiding me,
Ready to catch me when I falter.

This gift from God,
Esteemed glorious
Through the Word,
Shall keep me in His stead
To the end of my days on earth,
Till I dwell with Him in eternal glory.

Thank you Lord, for this great gift.
Help me live in repentance
And walk in Baptism
To your glory forever and ever.
